Are you making money online?

Iv'e been plugging away and trying to make an income online for 4 years now. In the beginning I was lucky to earn $40 per month. It's been a long-hard struggle to really find something that works, something that at the end of the day, leaves money in the bank and helps pay the bills.

Today I am earning more a month than I ever have before. But it's still not as much as I made when I had my 8-5 job and it's not enough to call it a real job. My goal is to eventually make enough money so that I never have to go back to a full time job. I want to work for myself, I want to make my own hours and have the flexibility that I need. I want to be like one of the people that I have seen on my favorite show House Hunters Intl, one day I want to pick up and move to a far away place where all I will need is an internet connection to earn my living. Working online is the ticket, the ticket to that life I want to live. I see the goal in my mind...now I just have to put even more work into it so that it will pay off and get to the point where my goal will become a reality.

Too Much ...

Do you ever feel completely overwhelmed?

I have been so busy, this time of the year is always such a hectic time. And to think that it's just the beginning. As soon as Halloween passes we are going to get into the BUSIEST time of the year. 

At least the costume shopping is done..! I also found some cute plastic pumpkins at Smart N Final for the 3 kids to collect candy in.

These are the costumes the kids will wear:

Ninja Zombie- strange combination 

Minnie Mouse- picked this up on a great Kohl's sale yesterday.

Ballerina- We had to buy new ballet attire for my 4 year old and at the same time she decided that she wanted to be a ballerina for Halloween too. What we got her is much cuter than the ballerina costumes we have seen so this ended up being a great money saver.

Now all we need is the candy and we are set. 

Goals For The Week -

It's almost 10 a.m. on Monday morning and I am setting up my goals for the week, it's time to get on here and catch up since I haven't been able to do much online for the past 3 weeks. Things that I need and would like to finish by the end of the week.

1. Purchase a domain for this blog

2. Do at least a few blog hops per day to start getting some traffic coming in and start following more blogs

3. Pitch and bring in new review/giveaways, I am setting a goal of at least 10 different items with most of them being for giveaway too.

4. Post at least once daily from this blog.

Halloween Is Upon Us...

Halloween is almost here, I can't believe it! This past year flew by so amazingly fast, I swear I still remember getting ready for last years Halloween. It's been so crazy we haven't even had a chance to even decorate, which the kids really like so tomorrow we are going to have to go and hit Target, Walmart and the Dollar Tree.

We also still need two costumes for the kids, so the next two weeks I am on major costume deal seeking mode. I refuse to pay over 20 bucks for a costume the kids will only wear a few hours. What can I say, I am stingy like that.

To close off this post I want to share a few pics of the kids from two years ago!!! OMG, how time flies!!

Making Time For My Blog.

My poor neglected blog has sat here for months, waiting for me to come back. A few times I went to delete it but I just could not do it. I started this blog for myself, to have a place to write down my thoughts and write about things that I really love. Like my books, my little girl and maybe BF. But with so much going on in life...problems with my girls, my mom got really sick and then my grand daughter had to start seeing a specialist for her hip and right after that I found out one of my girls was almost 7 months pregnant. All in the space of about 6 months...pretty crazy and it completely threw me off what I was doing and I barely had enough time to take care of my ad sites plus the families main blog. But there was no time for this one. But now I am going to make that time, I plan on getting a domain name and redo the design just a bit and then really make the time to post for myself. I mean there is a lot of stuff going on and a lot of stuff going through my head. So many things that I sometimes feel the need to let it all out, but I never realized during that time that this is the place where I can do that because this is my spot after all. So I know I have been away, but I am back dear little blog.

A Birthday Post

So today is my birthday and one of the most important people in my life is not here, my boyfriend. Really, now that I think about it, this has not been my year. For Valentines he was also not here and now for my birthday either, we have been together almost six years now and he had always been with me on those special days so it's a bit of a bummer. Not that we would be doing much of anything even if he was here, because I am not a big birthday celebrator. I don't like a big deal made out of it and if at all possible I never even mention it to others, my kids and family know and for me that is enough, but I do enjoy having them around me at least...you know?

So anyways, I logged in first thing this morning expecting an email from him and there was nothing. Nada...and it wasn't until after 11:00 that he did actually write. Four little sentences is what he wrote and it kind of made me mad. He could have at least written a bit more, and told me I love you. Men are kind of lame really, he always tells me that he doesn't always say it because I already know he does. But how am I supposed to know if he never says it?? Really it makes no sense to me, all I know is that he is going to owe me a nice gift when he gets back...
